This was a BBQ restaurant I wanted to visit for a really long time because it’s opened and owned by Haha (Running Man member and half of Skull & Haha)! If I’m not wrong, his first Loco Quan restaurant is in Hongdae, and the one in Myeongdong is his second one.
It’s a little hard to find if you’re not familiar with your way around Myeongdong, especially when you’re bombarded with so many different signs hanging around buildings in the area. If you’re lost, I suggest looking out for a sign on one of the upper floors (not the first!).

There are Haha standees at the entrance if you want to snap a photo with him, or at least look like you are taking one with the real deal. We weren’t lucky enough to bump into him that day, so if you’re as unlucky as us, you might have to settle with taking a selfie with the standee.
The restaurant was pretty empty when we reached there (about 5PM-ish), and the other customers there were all Koreans, which was a big surprise because I thought that this might have been more popular with international Running Man fans.

I actually had the foresight to take a photo of the menu and circle the items we ordered just in case I forgot afterward, so there you go. Between 3 people, we had pork and beef, together with one kimchi jjigae and one doenjang jjigae.
While I personally feel that the meat was really very delicious (thick, chewy, and marinated well), I think the prices were a tad high for the pork set. You can take a look at the other items’ prices here, they’re actually quite reasonable:

Overall, I think the service is fine. The staff weren’t exactly very friendly, but they did their best to help us barbecue our meat. It’s probably due to a language barrier that they didn’t really talk to us, I guess.
Would I come back again? Maybeee. To be honest, I thought the food was really good, – the only reason I wouldn’t give a definite yes is due to the price. But it’s highly likely that I’ll come again in hopes that I’ll have more luck and find Haha here the next time.
